Set during the middle of a tsunami that floods an ocean town, Ponyo is the spellbinding tale of a defiant goldfish that magically transforms into a little girl and befriends a human boy, Sosuke. Together, the two set out on a quest to restore the balance between land and sea in a profoundly imaginative tide of hand-drawn cell animation by anime genius Hayao Miyazaki.
