Fifteen years ago, Zia Anger made a micro-budget film that was never released. My First Film is an ultra-meta autofictional account of her experience creating and abandoning it. Joyously chaotic and disarmingly sincere, this un-making-of film is a declaration of personal agency and a testament to the power of collaboration.
