When the pandemic forced all NYC nightlife to shutdown, a rebellious group of stand up comics took their jokes outside to the people. One of the city’s funniest comics (Mahdiy Drummond) takes us through this unprecedented time as comedians began producing shows at parks, rooftops, and even underground. The stand up comedy scene becomes the wild wild west and the beautiful chorus of New Yorkers laughing replaced the harrowing sounds of sirens.
